Day 39

Thirty years,
Thirty long year.
That's how long it took,
For true love,
To find its way to me.
I'd wait another million,
If it meant you'd be the one I'd hold.

How could it be,
Someone 8,000 miles away,
Was growing a heart,
That could be so fond of me?
Someone who,
Could appreciate my humor,
My empathy for others,
And has a love for music,
With only a talent for singing off key.

Why would we be placed,
So far away?
With a chance we may never meet.
Life is full of questions,
Which seem to have no answer,
Until they answer themselves.
Did the world need two of us?
Were we suppose to meet?
Was this His plan all along?

I think now,
I've learned not ask
Too many questions.
It only complicates the mind,
And leaves no room for surprise.
I am so thankful,
Thankful we followed His path,
 and ventured in to each others hearts.

Day 38

A mirror,

I can't speak for others,

How they see love,
