Day 158 - Arrival

I came prepared with airport kisses,
Red roses and so many simple wishes.
I found you there standing outside,
Missing the moment of your first arrive.

We always look different on Skype,
But you still stand up to the hype.
So dashingly beautiful in your blue shoes,
Purple shirt, black pants, fittingly you.

With smiles worn on both our faces,
We head to the car, off to the races.
Now you're standing in the place I dream,
Where each and every night you reign supreme.

Our smiles are going nowhere fast,
This love is built on solid stone that lasts.
Happiness is entrenched deep in our souls,
And it keeps on turning diamonds from coal.

Shh, stop and hear my whispers in your ear,
Simple words of love, so sweet and sincere.
Knowing I make your little goosebumps rise,
Is the best in world, like winning the gold prize.

No missed connections can stop our hearts,
We are here together for another fresh start.
I'm ready to rock your world the next three weeks,
Leaving so many kisses on your sweet cheeks.

Day 157 - The Night

Silence fills all corners of the room,
Inside I hear the sound of a millions booms.
Like a firecracker's release,
There is no laying here in peace.
Pure happiness is running too deep,
Excitement keeping me from my sleep.

I wonder what she's doing right now,
Watching a movie, or staring at the clouds.
Is her seat neighbor treating her nice?
Did her dinner come with white rice?
I hope she is resting while up in the sky,
Cause all I'll want is to stare deep in her eyes.

If my dreams are ever to be seen,
They will be shaped like you, no in between.
I see us meeting again, seemingly brand new,
Mesmerized by your smile, so engrossed with you.
I move in for a tight hug and a soft loving kiss,
Reminding me just how much I have missed.

Day 156 - My Heart is Ready

My heart is ready,
To shower you in love.
It's been building inside,
A ball of red hot desire,
Ready to burst at the seams.
Once it is released,
There is no turning back,
No running away,
Only basking in the rays.
You will soak it all up,
With immense joy,
Excitement not to be contained.
Love will enter your soul,
Spin you around in circles,
Lift you up so high,
Leaving you in ecstasy.
As you soak it all in,
I know you will bottle my love,
Give a good shake and a kiss,
Then send it flying back to me.
This give an take,
Defines us so perfectly.
Never selfish, never wanting,
Only thinking of each other.

Day 155 - Arrival

Another day, another night,
Closer to you, closer to feeling right.

That big plane in the sky, it's heading here,
When you get off, look around my dear.

The smile you see, it won't be going away,
As long as I'm with you, it won't ever stray.

We have been given time, none will be wasted,
Our lips, will feel a renewal of what we have tasted.

You have saved me, this old broken soul,
Got me running on all cylinders, ready to go.

We have survived, distance can't ever break us,
Prepare for a life, immersed in happiness in trust.

Day 154 - Good Day

Good news came today. My baby is coming to visit me in the USA! Quite possibly the most exciting news of my life. By Friday this blog may have seen its final day...stay tuned


Prayers are answered,
She's coming here to stay,
Just for a short time,
But she will be all mine.

We will feel love everyday,
Oh, the power of touch,
She will drive me wild,
I will comfort her each night.

We are beyond happy,
In a world of day dreams,
At least one is now coming true,
Sunny days, just me and you.

My baby, my sweet babe.
I have missed you for a long time,
Soon it will all unfold,
With you tightly in my arms.

Day 153 - Smile

Right now it's upside down,
So think of a place,
One that drives you insane,
That you would give anything,
To be living in right now.

Maybe a sunny island,
Sippin' on a fruity drink.
A back country road,
Drivin' with the top down.
On Grandma's porch swing,
Swayin' with the fireflies.
In a warm bed on a cold day,
Dreamin' of waking up next to me.

Close those pretty brown eyes,
Let those thoughts carry you away,
Pretty pictures running in your mind,
Happiness will come alive inside,
Turning those pouty lips in to a smile.

Day 152 - Pray

I got on my knees last night,
Hoping He sheds some light.
Sometimes it's selfish prayers,
Most times it's for other I care.
