Day 45

As the wind blows,
I breath in the day.
I close my eyes,
Drifting to another place.

We're on a hillside,
Laying in a field of green,
Wild flowers flowing in the breeze,
Blue sky as far as our eyes can see.

It's a perfect day,
Laying head to head,
We talk and laugh,
And enjoy the moment of serenity.

I'd spend days there with you,
Watching light fade away,
Stars appearing from the wall of blue,
A backdrop for a thousand memories.

To be there now, I'd give anything,
My heart would never steer me wrong,
But I think you only get one dream to come true,
And I used mine up on you.
