Day 408 - Moments

Life only gives you so many moments,
Ones that don't come around twice,
Ones you must grasp immeditaely,
Not letting them pass you by.

There were times when I was too young,
To understand what was taking place,
To recognize a special few seconds,
As I watched them blow away with the wind.

With age come a focus and clarity,
A knowing of what you need in life,
A strong belief pulling you towards light,
Complete growth within your mind and soul.

I'm so thankful I didn't miss this chance,
To dedicate myself to you in life,
To provide and receive so much love,
That no other moment in life could compare.
