Day 477 - One Way

You bend my emotions,
In an upward fashion,
Creating a happy flow,
From where there was none.

The twists and turns,
From which I came,
Are now straight lines,
Leading me just one way.

This path I follow,
It's peaceful and calm,
Yet, full of an energy,
Which patiently waits.

When the day comes,
And we're in one place,
I'll be a permanent scar,
Of love you can't escape.
