Chemistry

Add one heart,
Cracked and broken at the seams.
A handful of salty tears,
Anger, emptiness and depression.
Thirty sleepless nights wondering why,
And a genuinely lost soul.

Slowly mix in,
A badly damaged heart.
One not given enough love,
Abused, unfulfilled and yearning for more.
Drop in dreams of respect,
With equal parts compassion and devotion.

Watch as two part loneliness,
Dissolves in to one part happiness.
See the masses collide,
Melting, mixing and combusting,
A fire ball of emotions, inseparable.
Chemistry, exploding hearts since time began.
