Day 6

Started this one just singing made up lyrics on Skype:

This story starts from start,
8,000 miles apart.
One boy trying to get away,
One girl, she's doing the same.

Late nights filled with smoke and booze,

A poem a day, until we meet again...Day 1

It's been 178 days since I last saw the amazing woman who stole my heart, brought joy to my life and made me believe in the idea of a soul mate. My thoughts are consumed of when we will meet again, when we will be able to be together forever, when life will just make sense...I hope it is soon. I pray it is soon.

Until the moment I can reach out and touch the one I love, kiss her lips and hold her by my side, I will challenge myself to express my love and devotion daily. A song, a poem, a note, something, anything, to send my voice on a path to her heart.

Day 1:

I cry some nights when we hang up the phone,
My heart breaks, I am alone.
Thinking of you as I sleep,
My soul bears all and silently weeps.

Sometimes I stare up at the moon,

And wonder how to get to you.

Do I jump from cloud to cloud,

Or simply follow a rainbow down?

I know if I let my heart lead,
