Day 70

I went and cut my hair,
Ironed out my best jean pair,
Clean shaved with a razor blade,
New Adidas, China handmade.

You let your hair hang loose,
A little yellow dress just covers your caboose,
Stunning, without a trace of makeup on,
Humming along to your favorite song.

Take my hand, tonight we fly away,
Let's cruise out over the blue ocean bay,
Take a trip above busy city streets,
Watch people below, poor mixing with elite.

No stopping what goes on in the sky,
Rooftop loving will be wild and alive.
With no heavy hearts to make us sink,
We stay attached to that which was a missing a link.

I would go with you anywhere,
Breathing in the clean, fresh, love filled air.
I can only wish a wisp of air would come get me now,
Carry me over land and sea to your arms, somehow.

Day 69

I'm waiting patiently,
For our happy ending.
The story has been great so far,
So many beautiful experiences together,
Trips to exotic places,
Kisses under waterfalls,
On island beaches,
and many on fast moving city streets.
Those moments move slow in my mind,
Reliving them time and time again,
It keeps me happy and content,
But the feeling I get with you in my arms,
It does not compare.
It's like a whole new world opens up,
We disappear, just you and I,
No others around, just your eyes in mine,
We breathe each other in and the moment never ends.

Day 68

Go to sleep,
Enjoy those sweet dreams.

Cotton candy kisses,
Genies granting wishes.
Me running a circus town,
With big red shoes and the face of a clown.

See me through kaleidoscope eyes,
As I twist and dance and shine.
Watch as I walk the high wire,
Jumping through hoops fueled by fire.

We'll walk a boardwalk filled with mysterious things,
Houses of horror and mermaids who sing.
Mazes of mirrors, dark with delight,
Hold on to me, as you scream through the night.

Maybe I'm a giant bumbling around,
Stomping and crushing life on the ground.
Nothing to stop me throughout the world,
Just the smile of one pretty girl.

Look now I'm a jester in front of the court,
Juggling and playing music, things of that sort.
While the king stares me down, as if to demean,
He'd be pissed to know, I diddled his queen.

Dreams can be so fun and so real,
An American man who's heart you did steal.
But now that one isn't really a dream,
Unless this love thing is not as it seems.

Day 67

A Mizo girl,
An American guy,
Discovered a bond,
A strong one,
Built on similarities,
In thought and belief,
Creating a foundation,
Stable and secure,
In which to build a life.
We may get lost sometimes,
But you can always find me in your heart.

Day 66

Oh my, my,
You are the most beautiful girl I've seen,
Big brown eyes,
A sparkling smile,
Long dark hair,
You drive me wild.

You got the whole package,
Wrapped up nicely in a little flower dress,
An infectious laugh,
A dirty joking mind,
All your stories of the past,
Oh, it all just makes me so happy.

You and I, we operate on the same page,
In the same book called "Our Life,"
It's dedicated to fun,
Chapters reveal joys of giving love,
Inspiring happiness down in the soul
And the best part is, it never ends.  

Day 65

Attention, attention,
Everyone listen up,
My heart has melted,
It beats full and strong,
My soul has been set free,
Caution, thrown to the wind,
I am now the best man I can be,
I feel whole, complete, final,
Nothing can get in the way,
True love has found its way to me.

Day 64

Moonlight dances,
Seductive glances,
Are waiting for you.

Talking for hours,
Long hot showers,
Are waiting for you.

Holding hands,
Making life plans,
Are waiting for you.

A body to hold,
A kind and giving soul,
Are waiting for you.

A trusted friend,
Love until the end,

Day 63

Anger disappears,
With the touch of your hand,
Words from your lips,
Assure me, it's going to be alright.

This distance is one obstacle,
We will jump though hoops,
Roll over and play dead,
Just to meet once again.

Nothing or no one,
Will stop this train from rolling on,
Jump out of the way,
We are coming for each other.

Can you feel this dedication?
Do you hear our cries of frustration?
No backing down, we step forward,
Removing ourselves from this isolation.

Day 62

You tug on my heartstrings,

Make me want to sing a song,

One about how much I love you,

And wishing you in to my arms.

A line or two about lessons learned,

Past mistakes and moving on. 

Life's unexpected moments, 

Like finding the one, at just the right time, 

It will accent His light,

Shining in the strangest of places, 

Guiding the way, brightening tomorrow,

Giving us hope, each new day. 

I will sing of our love, so loud, so proud,

Proclaiming to the world, we are one. 

A pairing of equals, body an mind,

Always together, until called home again. 

Day 61

The window to the soul,

Paints a vibrant picture of oneself,

Who you are, what you stand for,

And what you believe. 

I've closed my window, 

I know who I am, what I want to be,

A husband to you, 

Father to our children to come. 

What grew of a dream,

Has poured in to reality. 

Doubt is a wasted thought,

I have none when it come to you and I.

Although my "I love you,"
Currently echoes in this silent room.
I know the feeling is mutual,
and both our hearts hurt like hell. 

Day 60

The waiting game,
A war played with emotions.
Love, a wounded warrior,
Fighting until all battles are won.

Day 59

The Summer heat lit a fire,
Humidity, a fuel for desire.

A July sun burned bright,
Melting hearts, a guiding light.

Gentle breezes came out to play,
Blowing all our past troubles away.

Nights open up to moon and stars,
Under them we meet, healing love's scars .

One drink quenched our thirst,
Welcoming in so many firsts.

Day 58

I've kissed the prettiest girl,
Happiness has entered my world.
She's awakened my soul,
Building me up, making me whole.

And I can't wait till tomorrow,
When she's there, with her head on my pillow,
Oh, what a feeling,
My heart is reeling, for you.

Love comes when you least expect it,
It grows wild, go out and pick it,
Give it room to grow,
And let it show, you the way.

Day 57

Our hearts both sit apart,
Calling each others name,
Yearning and reaching,
To be one and the same.

Some days it's tears,
Most days it's laughs,
Creating new memories,
Ones built to last.

We are strong,
Held together by love,
The glue of the heart,
Given to us from above.

I can't think of a place,
I'd rather be,
Me there with you,
Or you here with me.

Our arms will embrace,
Bodies will meet,
Lips will caress,
And I may just weep.

White linen,
Lined in lace,
Resting peaceful,
Your pretty face.

Wake up those pretty eyes,
Show me that morning smile,
Kiss me soft and sweet,
Lay with me awhile.

Rest your head on my chest,
Hold your hand in mine,
Let's talk and laugh,
Sing songs until the end of time.

What a perfect scenario,
Just you, me,
Sunlight and time,
Always and forever to be.

Day 55

It gets louder every day,

Like a freight train running away,

The words in my head,
Telling me to just pick up and go. 
Go be with the girl you love,
Don't think twice,
Don't look back,
Don't ever question the choice. 

Is this a cry for help?
A sincere request for a divine hand?
Life is short and so precious,
We are both ready to write the next chapter,

Like a stone skipping the water,
You glided in to my life, one step at a time,
Falling at just the right point.

Your polished, loving heart,
Bleeds sympathetic kindness,
Rounding the edges of my jagged soul.

A kiss from your strawberry laced lips,
Is a warm breeze on a rocky shore,
Natural, leaving me breathless, unable to speak.

We've begun to lay a foundation,
Formidable and strong, an unbreakable bond,
Anchoring us like roots in the ground.

Love will build us a life, filled with happiness,
Like moss clinging to a boulder on the forest floor,
We grow wild, but are tamed by devotion to one another.

Day 53

You're always one step ahead, 

A brazen mind that believes, 

You can do anything. 

You find weakness in fear, 

But your so easy to scare, 

As I sneak up behind you and scream. 

You're so willing to give,

More than you like to receive, 

But new shoes always find a home on your feet.  

You always have on a smile,

Telling good stories, and once in awhile,

Leave me laughing uncontrollably wild.

Day 52

Wrap me up in a ball of love,
Roll me down the hill to your heart.
Pick me up, squeeze me in your arms,
Feel my love for you so tightly wound.

Day 51

Dark hair, dark eyes,
A loving flame burns inside.

Petite frame, wide smile,
Happiness running wild.

Sexy legs, sweet lips,
Tender and passionate fingertips.

Expansive mind, kind words,
"I love you" said, not just heard.

Perfect girl, imperfect guy,
Creating fireworks, like the Fourth of July.

Day 50

Fifty days and fifty nights,
Holding strong, holding tight.
It seems as if eternity has passed,
Memories make the moments last.

I remember the first one,
A little drunk, but lots of fun,
You grabbed my arm, we snuck outside,
The laws of physics we did abide.

How about the lip lock,
Sitting there atop that rock,
Orange rays, fading to ocean blue,
Just in love and still so new.

When I think about the kiss we shared,
Up on a high, in the jungle air,
Butterflies come out to say hello,
Love bursting, ready to grow.

Now time drags on, no new memories,
No stories to write in your diary,
But I know the next time we meet,
We will be left with a taste, oh so sweet.

Day 49

Pot holes, wrong turns,
One ways, u-turns,
Life's been a bumpy road.

Scenic drives, coastlines,
Windows down, sunshine,
That's how the ride feels with you.

Day 48

Hope on that lonesome railroad car,
I'll hear you coming from afar.
Screeching metal and whistling steam,
Following the cold tracks back to me.

Sit and watch the world pass by,
Total darkness to morning sky.
Happiness will subdue your tears,
Soon my arms, will quell your fears.

Every brake around every bend,
Feel my heartbreak start to mend.
Though little towns and city lights,
I'll be here waiting through the night.

When you reach the platform here,
Look around for me my dear,
I'll pick you up, steal a kiss,
We'll head for home in loving bliss.

Day 47

Let love last.
Let it grow.
Let it rain down upon us,
In happiness and faith.

Watch love provide strength.
Watch it shine in our eyes.
Watch it guide an unbeaten path,
Slow and steady through life.

Hear love in a tender whisper.
Hear it roar in passion.
Hear it speak,

Tonight I am deeply missing you,

This distance is too long,

Day 45

As the wind blows,
I breath in the day.
I close my eyes,
Drifting to another place.

We're on a hillside,
Laying in a field of green,
Wild flowers flowing in the breeze,
Blue sky as far as our eyes can see.

It's a perfect day,
Laying head to head,
We talk and laugh,
And enjoy the moment of serenity.

I'd spend days there with you,
Watching light fade away,
Stars appearing from the wall of blue,
A backdrop for a thousand memories.

To be there now, I'd give anything,
My heart would never steer me wrong,
But I think you only get one dream to come true,
And I used mine up on you.

Day 44

A kiss,
Makes a good story,
Or could be the start of something new.

A kiss,
Will bring stability,
To a teetering heart.

A kiss,
Something worth waiting for,
Even as these days drag on.

No words have to be spoken,
Just let the moment unfold.

A kiss,
Says a thousand words,
But it's love that resonates through.

Day 43

Days that end in 'Y'
Get lonely without you.
Come home soon
And kiss me goodnight.

Day 42

Pretend for one second,
We met in a different way.
High school sweethearts,
A fraternity party,
Or chatting by the water cooler.
Would love have blossomed,
Like a flower in Spring?
Or would it have been a soft hello,
And a quick goodbye?

The dynamics of a relationship,
Are built upon that first meeting.
The right time, right place scenario,
It describes us, beyond just words.
Two people, newly single, catching an eye,
Small time flirting turns to conversation,
Two hearts grow one beat at a time,
Ending in passion, entangled in each other arms,
Or rather just beginning a lifetime of love.

Day 41

A little inspiration from the Oscar Awards tonight and oddly enough, as episode of Dexter:

No matter where life takes us.

I've been cast in the role of a lifetime,
With an A-list co-star,
And a storyline fueled by fantasy.
No need for the big screen or stage.
Without acting classes, millions, mansions and cars,
This one still wins an Academy Award.

Day 40

40 day and 40 nights :

In my darkest hours,

You are my light.

An eternal flame

Burning ever so bright.

You lift me up,

To a mountain high.

Breathing new life in to me,

I never thought I would find.

Before there was you,

So many unanswered questions inside. 

Wondering if I'd ever be able,

To cast bad memories aside

You came in like an angel,

Reshaping my mind.

Gracefully chipping the stone,

Revealing a heart, you've refined.

The longer I am with you,

The more I understand this world.

How everything happens for a reason,
