Day 158 - Arrival

I came prepared with airport kisses,
Red roses and so many simple wishes.
I found you there standing outside,
Missing the moment of your first arrive.

We always look different on Skype,
But you still stand up to the hype.
So dashingly beautiful in your blue shoes,
Purple shirt, black pants, fittingly you.

With smiles worn on both our faces,
We head to the car, off to the races.
Now you're standing in the place I dream,
Where each and every night you reign supreme.

Our smiles are going nowhere fast,
This love is built on solid stone that lasts.
Happiness is entrenched deep in our souls,
And it keeps on turning diamonds from coal.

Shh, stop and hear my whispers in your ear,
Simple words of love, so sweet and sincere.
Knowing I make your little goosebumps rise,
Is the best in world, like winning the gold prize.

No missed connections can stop our hearts,
We are here together for another fresh start.
I'm ready to rock your world the next three weeks,
Leaving so many kisses on your sweet cheeks.

Day 157 - The Night

Silence fills all corners of the room,
Inside I hear the sound of a millions booms.
Like a firecracker's release,
There is no laying here in peace.
Pure happiness is running too deep,
Excitement keeping me from my sleep.

I wonder what she's doing right now,
Watching a movie, or staring at the clouds.
Is her seat neighbor treating her nice?
Did her dinner come with white rice?
I hope she is resting while up in the sky,
Cause all I'll want is to stare deep in her eyes.

If my dreams are ever to be seen,
They will be shaped like you, no in between.
I see us meeting again, seemingly brand new,
Mesmerized by your smile, so engrossed with you.
I move in for a tight hug and a soft loving kiss,
Reminding me just how much I have missed.

Day 156 - My Heart is Ready

My heart is ready,
To shower you in love.
It's been building inside,
A ball of red hot desire,
Ready to burst at the seams.
Once it is released,
There is no turning back,
No running away,
Only basking in the rays.
You will soak it all up,
With immense joy,
Excitement not to be contained.
Love will enter your soul,
Spin you around in circles,
Lift you up so high,
Leaving you in ecstasy.
As you soak it all in,
I know you will bottle my love,
Give a good shake and a kiss,
Then send it flying back to me.
This give an take,
Defines us so perfectly.
Never selfish, never wanting,
Only thinking of each other.

Day 155 - Arrival

Another day, another night,
Closer to you, closer to feeling right.

That big plane in the sky, it's heading here,
When you get off, look around my dear.

The smile you see, it won't be going away,
As long as I'm with you, it won't ever stray.

We have been given time, none will be wasted,
Our lips, will feel a renewal of what we have tasted.

You have saved me, this old broken soul,
Got me running on all cylinders, ready to go.

We have survived, distance can't ever break us,
Prepare for a life, immersed in happiness in trust.

Day 154 - Good Day

Good news came today. My baby is coming to visit me in the USA! Quite possibly the most exciting news of my life. By Friday this blog may have seen its final day...stay tuned


Prayers are answered,
She's coming here to stay,
Just for a short time,
But she will be all mine.

We will feel love everyday,
Oh, the power of touch,
She will drive me wild,
I will comfort her each night.

We are beyond happy,
In a world of day dreams,
At least one is now coming true,
Sunny days, just me and you.

My baby, my sweet babe.
I have missed you for a long time,
Soon it will all unfold,
With you tightly in my arms.

Day 153 - Smile

Right now it's upside down,
So think of a place,
One that drives you insane,
That you would give anything,
To be living in right now.

Maybe a sunny island,
Sippin' on a fruity drink.
A back country road,
Drivin' with the top down.
On Grandma's porch swing,
Swayin' with the fireflies.
In a warm bed on a cold day,
Dreamin' of waking up next to me.

Close those pretty brown eyes,
Let those thoughts carry you away,
Pretty pictures running in your mind,
Happiness will come alive inside,
Turning those pouty lips in to a smile.

Day 152 - Pray

I got on my knees last night,
Hoping He sheds some light.
Sometimes it's selfish prayers,
Most times it's for other I care.

Day 151 - Her to Me

Shy?
No not you.
Maybe a little.
Just enough to be cute.

Strong?
Yes, that's you.
Not physically of course.
In mind and soul.

Passionate?
Always on par.
Matching me every time.
Never not wanting to show.

Gracious?
No not really.
Maybe too strong a mind.
Defending her ground.

Agile?
Sometimes yes.
I say clumsily perfect.
For this bumbling boy.

Beautiful?
Naturally, of course.
Not too fancy.
Trending her own style.

Smart?
Like a whip they'd say.
Easy without even trying.
Able to pass on to others.

Perfect?
No not at all.
To most of the world.
To me, she's got all I need.

Day 150 - It's Just Natural

Your a Tennessee waterfall,
Sparkling at every angle,
Cooling me off in the heat,
Such a sight to be seen.

Your a fresh breath of country air,
Filling me with life,
Sweeping me off my feet,
Carrying me to places never seen.

Your a Himalayan mountain peak,
Keeping me up on a high,
Filled with scenic views,
Beauty that matches no other.

You a courageous lioness,
Supportive of your king,
Accepting of his love,
A never dying devotion.

Day 149 - Anywhere with You

Walking the city at night,
Lost in the rain.
Holding you tight,
On a morning train.

Sweating with you,
On a hike in the hills.
Taking in a scenic view,
With me taking pictures at will.

Sea sick on boat,
After a night filled with fun.
Searching for a warm winter coat,
Going back to buy, at store number one.

A scary hotel,
With linens older than me.
A water park with swimsuits to sell,
Losing your top for all to see.

An apartment in the city,
Exploring the loft in so many ways.
Riding tricycles, so itty-bitty,
Down dirt roads that seem like a maze.

I'll go anywhere with you,
To the left to the right, up or down.
Together we are stuck like glue,
Always, forever I hope you stay around.

Day 148 - I Say Yes

I say yes,
Put on your little yellow dress,
We're going out tonight,
Raising hell until morning light.

C'mon let's dance,
Steal my heart, here's your chance.
I'll pull you in close to me,
Kiss your lips, set me free.

Let's go for a ride,
Cruising town by my side.
We'll find a place to park,
A little loving up in the dark.

I'll spoil you,
Nothing this ole boy won't do.
Not looking for a one night stand,
I'm your one woman man.

Day 147

I'm stockpiling kisses,
For all those I've been missing.
Preparing warm cuddles at night,
To wrap around you so tight.
So many I love yous to say,
So much love, in so many ways.
Soon it will be just you and me,
Just being what we will be.

Day 146 - My Queen

I was hurt and alone,
No queen to share my throne.
It wasn't the life I planned,
Counting lovers on one hand.
I'd give them all of me,
In return, they'd set me free.
Finding my special one,
Was like trying to hold a ray of sun.

Now I'm living in a different day,
One girl showing me the way.
She's full of life and happiness,
Nothing about the past I miss.
I found her on the other side,
Knowing now she'll be my bride.
I'll take her hand through ups and downs,
My queen by my side, wearing her crown.

Day 145 - Without You

Without you,
I'm hopeless,
A person I don't want to be.
You've give me all I need,
Love and trust,
Faith and hope.
A good life,
Is waiting for us.
Together we are a key,
That opens a treasure,
Filled with happiness.

Day 144 - They Don't Understand

What we have,
Others just don't understand.
Love from a distance,
It's not in their game plan

They say it's like dating a ghost,
But what they don't know,
Is you give me more than most,
Warming my heart to the perfect degree.

Some fall in love with sexual taste,
Some 'cause it seems like the thing to do,
For us, we've fallen in love with a soul,
The one thing inside, making you, you.

Yes, we're missing the touch,
Which others come to expect,
But that time will come for us,
As our separation comes to and end.

We're coming up on a year,
With such a distance between,
I'm ready for us to conjoin,
And like a blooming rose, again we'll be seen.

Day 143 - Wanted

Wanted:

Day 142 My Star

Hey my little shining star,
How'd you get to be so bright?
You really light up my nights,
Glowing in this darkened sky.

Hey my lucky shooting star,
You move by me so fast,
Like a a bullet from a gun,
You spin this man round and round.

You're my aurora borealis,
A colorful display of charged particles,
Jumping and jiving through the northern sky,
Wish I can reach out, pull you down by my side.

Day 141 - Love Songs

Love songs,
Always make me think of you.
They leave me wondering,
If someone is spying on us,
Tracking all our moves,
And writing down what they see.
Sweet words,
Soft kisses,
Warm Hugs,
Two bodies laying as one.
It's all there in the lyrics,
Mirroring our life,
Line by line,
Word for word.
They know I love you,
With all my heart,
That I will never stop,
No matter what.
They say love is a miracle,
And I couldn't agree more.

Day 140 - Alone

We need some time alone,
To reconnect and renew,
Create fresh memories,
Just me and you.

The world outside,
It's not going anywhere,
We can stay inside and dance,
Without any worries or cares.

I'll take your hand in mine,
Place it on my heart,
Let you feel the happy beats,
That stop when we're apart.

All day and all night,
We can dream dreams,
Indulge in fantasies,
Removing all spaces in between.

This to me is the perfect world,
My girl in my arms,
Filled with life and love,
Soaking up every bit of charm.

Day 139 - Rain

The rains coming down,
We've nothing to do,
Except sit here inside,
And let love shine on through.

Let your hair down,
Short, shorts and tank top,
I'll wear an old t-shirt,
And on the couch we will flop.

I'll lay behind,
You can have the front,
My arms will hold tight,
While my hands, they may hunt.

I may bite your ear,
And kiss you endlessly,
But I know you'll smile,
While loving me passionately.

We can lay there all day,
Listen to the rain,
I'm sure by the end,
We be naked, warm blood in all veins.

Day 138 - For Athena Orchard

I read this article today and was inspired by this young, innocent, soul taken too soon. Positivity in the face of agony and pain must take a lot of courage. I can't put myself in her shoes, or know what she went through, but I can follow her lead and remain positive throughout life's ups and downs.

I know this post is a bit of a break from the typical, but I know my baby has a heart that understand mine.

I see my reflection,
In the morning, everyday,
I know I'm slowly dying,

Each day we close,
So we can expose,
The dream of a future untold.

While distance hurts,
It could be worse,
To never know love at all.

Day 136 - Dry Your Eyes

I know you cry,
Late at night,
Missing me,
A tough fight to fight.

I'll do all that I can,
To dry your pretty eyes,
Eternally your man,
No more sad goodbyes.

We'll do all that lovers do,
Talk and touch and play,
Love will grow us two,
Each and every day.

Day 135 - The Show

I'm tuned in to a good show,
A love story with a sad twist,
Boy love girls,
Girl love boy,
But miles separate their hearts.

What will it take for them to be together?
How far will they have to journey?
Will they have the energy to continue each day?
Can the conquer each obstacle with just passion and faith?

So many unanswered questions,
Right from the start.
Love will not stand idle,
It may sit and wait,
But it pounces when it is right time.

I think this show can only get better,
Cliff hangers aside,
There will be laughable moment,
Tears of happiness and some sad,
But in the end the boy always gets the girl.

Day 134 - A Day

Not a day goes by,
Without me thinking of you.

Not an hour goes by,
That I don't hear your laugh,

Not a minute goes by,
Where I don't see your smile.

Not a second passes,
Without a wish of being with you.

Day 133 - The Way to Your Heart

How far is it to your heart?
Can I run,
Can I jump,
Is it just over the hillside?

Will you show me the way?
Lead me,
Guide me,
Let me inside when arrive?

How long can I stay?
For a minute,
For a year,
Or until the end of time?

Will you let me shower you in love?
Bring you happiness,
A life of joy,
Completing a life most can only dream?

Day 132 - How Long Will You Love me

How long will you love me?
Until the stars fall from the sky.

How long will I love you?
Until the salt dries up the sea.

Through every season,
I'll give you a reason,
To love only me,

In so many ways,
Through all of our days,
You're the only girl I'll see.

There will be no other,
And we'll rediscover,
Our love every day.

I may drive you crazy,
And you may be lazy,
But love forgives in every way.
